This oat, blueberry, banana, smoothie with nuts and seeds is my favourite breakfast at the moment. I'm a big fan of homemade smoothies and I can't think of any better way to start the day! 

Shake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oatmeal
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seed
  • 8 almonds
  • 8 cashews

Directions

  • 1Place all of the ingredients together in the blender and blend until smooth, this should take less that 2 min. If it’s a bit too thick for you, just add a splash more water.
  • 2Enjoy!
